Manawatu Supporting Families aims to provide the best possible support, advocacy and education for the whole whanau/family of those people affected by mental illness.
Services Offered
Manawatu Supporting Families offers general advice and support to the families of people affected by mental illness. Supporting families one to one or with small family groups. Families enjoy support through coffee and chat afternoons, pot luck dinners and other social events. The agency also has an extensive range of information on mental illness and it's affects.
In addition to these services MSF runs some group programmes:
Connections with Hope: How to deal with Depresson
Go Kids: a 7 week programme for children living in the presence of mental illness and addictions
